Sentinel provides clients a powerful, flexible and cost-effective e-learning platform which reflects the image the client wishes to project, and is customized to reflect client specific policies, practices and procedures. In October 2007, Sentinel will be offering its own selection of courses in Maritime Safety and Security. These course will be challenging, but practical. They will be lead by experts in the industry.

We provide flexible database-driven solutions to manage the safety and security processes for maritime companies. The solutions are normally built with open-source MySql for the database backend, and with Microsoft Access as user interface. While we generally manage the database for the client, the client can opt to take the process in-house without having to deal with proprietary software issues.

Sentinel creates and runs live exercises involving port operators, ship operators, port police, and national transportation authorities. Clients have used our exercises to document compliance with the ISPS Code. We use video conferencing to link participants in remote locations to generate an exceptionally high degree of realism. We offer a regular programme of live exercises where companies, responders and regulators can test policies, practices, and procedures in "real time".
